Elliott Bay Pizza & Pub sits comfortably in Mill Creek as a casual spot where local pizza fans come together to enjoy a laid-back meal with some of the area’s more distinctive pies. The atmosphere strikes a balance between family-friendly and neighborhood hangout—there’s enough buzz to feel lively on weekend nights but also enough space for quieter dinners or catch-ups over drinks.

The focus here is clearly on pizza with a nod to variety and local craft brews. Elliott Bay offers a range of styles including Detroit-style, which draws particular attention from visitors familiar with the classic Michigan original, though opinions vary on its authenticity. Beyond pizza, the menu features hearty appetizers like meatballs with rosemary marinara and dips like artichoke spinach, alongside garlic cheese bread and wings with a spicy kick, making it a solid place for groups that appreciate sharing a spread.

The beer selection stands out as a key part of the experience, featuring about twenty beers on tap, including local favorites like Skookum Hazy IPA, Fremont Summer Ale, and Cascade Apricot. Those who appreciate pairing their meal with a well-curated cider or stout will find plenty of options here, adding to the casual pub vibe.

Visitors tend to come for the easygoing environment and the opportunity to enjoy familiar comfort food with a twist, whether it’s a family dinner, a casual date night, or meeting friends to watch a game. The service, while mostly friendly, can fluctuate—some note a more focused bartender—so it’s a place where the food and drink take center stage.

If you’re in Mill Creek looking for craft beer alongside pizzas that aim to play both local and slightly adventurous styles, Elliott Bay fits that niche well. It’s best visited during dinner hours when the kitchen is humming and the taps are flowing, but early evenings or weekends work especially well for catching that relaxed, pub atmosphere without feeling rushed or crowded.

Elliot Bay Pizza and Pub in Mill Creek is a gem! Their pizza is hands down the best in the area—perfectly crisp crust, generous toppings, and that ideal balance of flavors that keeps you coming back for more. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a great spot for family dinners or meeting up with friends. Their beer selection is solid, with plenty of local brews on tap to pair with your meal. The service is always friendly and attentive, even during busy hours. If you’re in the Mill Creek area and craving pizza, this is the place to go! Highly recommend.

Stopped in because I saw other reviews about Detroit style pizza. As a Michigander I know a thing or two about Detroit style pizza and theirs is a far cry from the real deal. Dough was tasty but not quite thick enough to be Detroit style. Meatballs were fantastic - loved the rosemary marinara sauce. Great selection of beer and cider on tap. I was unimpressed by the bartender - he seemed more focused on his budding relationship than taking care of customers.

I am from Michigan and lived in Detroit for years, during which time I had Buddy’s pizza regularly. Buddy’s I believe, is where Detroit style pizza originated. Tonight at Elliot Bay Pizza my husband and I had Detroit style with spicy sausage, meatballs, fresh mushrooms and black olives. It was fabulous. The mushrooms were fresh, the meatballs chunky, and the sausage was sliced like pepperoni. The cheese was melty and plentiful. The crust was not as oily as Buddy’s which was okay with us. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long, long time. The beer and wine and service were equally good

Looooooong time favorite for delicious pizzas, subs & craft beers! We have unfortunately noticed a steady decline in service and attention to beer upkeep over the last several visits and our last visit was so unusually unpleasant that I'm not sure we will be coming back...but we always do. I am all for giving second (and even third) chances, but this would be their fourth or fifth chance, haha. What's happening? Frustrating would be an understatement. We drive all the way up from Seattle and all we want to do is give you our hard earned money and eat your delicious food, so please act like you appreciate our presence. Ugh, you've got us addicted EBP! We'll probably be back. YUM!
